Verse 1: Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent.

Verse 5: And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze.

Verse 6: And for those who disbelieved in their Lord is the punishment of Hell, and wretched is the destination.

Verse 7: When they are thrown into it, they hear from it a [dreadful] inhaling while it boils up.

Verse 8: It almost bursts with rage. Every time a group is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, “Did there not come to you a warner?”

Verse 9: They will say, “Yes, a warner did come to us, but we denied him and said, ‘Allah has not sent down anything. You are only in great error.'”

Verse 10: And they will say, “If only we had listened and been reasonable, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze.”

Verse 11: So they confess their sins, but there is no benefit for them therein. Indeed, they are the companions of the Blaze.

Verse 12: Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward.

Verse 13: And conceal your speech or speak openly – it is He who is Aware of the secrets of the hearts.

Verse 14: How could He not know what He created when He is the Subtle, the Acquainted?

Verse 15: He is the One who made the earth for you easy to traverse. So traverse it and eat from His provisions, and to Him is the resurrection.

Verse 16: Do you feel secure that the One who is in heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you up as it quakes violently?

Verse 17: Or do you feel secure that the One who is in heaven will not unleash upon you a storm of stones? Only then would you know how serious My warning was!

Verse 18: And certainly those before them denied ˹as well˺, then how severe was My response!

Verse 19: Have they not seen the birds above them, spreading and folding their wings? None holds them up except the Most Compassionate. Indeed, He is of everything Seeing.

Verse 20: Or who is it that provides for you if He withholds His provision? Rather, they persist in transgression and falsehood.

Verse 21: Then who is more astray – he who follows his own whims and desires without guidance from Allah? Indeed, Allah leaves astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills.

Verse 22: So do not let their lives deceive you into thinking that they are doing well, while their hearts are corrupt. Indeed, they will be brought before Allah and He will fully repay them for what they have done.

Verse 23: Indeed, those who disbelieved in their Lord will have the punishment of Hell, and wretched is the destination.

Verse 24: And those who believed and did righteous deeds will be in the Gardens of Delight, abiding therein forever. They will never desire to be removed from it.

Verse 25: Say, “Shall I inform you of something better than those? For those who fear their Lord are Gardens of perpetual bliss beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide forever, and they will have pure spouses and the pleasure of Allah. And Allah is Seeing of His servants.”

Verse 26: Those who say, “Our Lord is Allah,” and then remain steadfast – the angels descend upon them, [saying], “Do not fear and do not grieve, but rejoice in good tidings of Paradise which you were promised.”

Verse 27: “We are your protectors in this world and in the Hereafter. Therein you will have whatever you desire, and therein you will have whatever you call for.”

Verse 28: As a hospitality from the Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

Verse 29: Say, “He is the Most Compassionate—in Him ˹alone˺ we believe, and in Him ˹alone˺ we trust. You will soon know who is clearly astray.

Verse 30: Say, “Have you considered: if all your water were to be sunk away, who then can supply you with flowing (spring) water?”
