Summer Quran Course / Camp for kids

School stops in summer, but Quran doesn't have to. This Summer Quran Course / Camp for kids gives your child a short, dated season of daily online classes with one certified teacher and one clear target to finish before September.

It is built for the months when children have time but no routine. Instead of open-ended lessons, your child joins a quran summer camp with a start date, an end date, and a memorization goal they can actually reach.

Summer Quran Course / Camp For Kids - Faster Hifz, Nothing Lost Over The Break

Most Quran programmes run all year at the same steady pace, adding a few verses a week around school, homework, and after-school activities. A summer course works differently: it uses the free weeks of the break to move faster, then closes with a finished result your child can recite confidently by the end of summer. With no school, tests, or homework competing for attention, new memorization has time to settle properly before it has a chance to slip.

The camp also protects everything that was learned during the school year, which is where most families quietly lose ground. Every class opens with revision of older surahs before any new verses are introduced. That one habit is why the three-month break ends up strengthening your child's hifz instead of erasing it.

Connected curriculum

8 Parts Of A Syllabus Built To Finish Before September

The syllabus is built for a short, intensive season, not a full school year. Your child is placed by age and level, then given a plan they can finish before September.

  1. A Fixed Summer Memorization Target

Your child's teacher sets one realistic goal for the break, such as a group of short surahs or a full juz'. Daily portions are sized so the target is finished by the last week of camp.

  2. Tajweed Repair For Habits Formed During The School Year

Busy school terms leave recitation mistakes uncorrected. Summer gives the teacher time to slow down, isolate each rule your child gets wrong, and drill it until the correct sound becomes automatic.

  3. Daily Revision That Stops Summer Forgetting

Every class opens with a short review of older surahs before anything new is added. This rotating cycle is why children finish the camp holding more than they arrived with.

  4. Arabic Letters And Fluent Reading For Beginners

Children who cannot yet read Arabic start with letter sounds, harakat, and joined words through Noorani Qaida. The aim by the end of summer is reading a page of Mushaf without guessing.

  5. The Surahs Your Child Uses In Salah

Al-Fatihah and the short surahs of Juz' Amma are taught with prayer in mind, including where to pause and how to start again after a mistake. Your child leaves camp able to pray without relying on the same two surahs.

  6. Meaning And Stories Behind What They Memorize

Each week the teacher explains the key words and the story of the surah being memorized. Children retain far more when they know what they are saying, which matters when the pace is fast.

  7. Camp Challenges And The Weekly Recitation Circle

Points, streaks, and a Friday recitation session give the break the feel of a camp rather than extra homework. This is what keeps children showing up in July without being pushed.

  8. Assessment Week And The End-Of-Summer Certificate

The final week is a full recitation of everything memorized during the camp, graded on accuracy and tajweed. Your child receives a written evaluation and a certificate naming what they completed.

Course outcomes

Results Your Child Brings Back To School

The camp is judged by what your child can recite in September, not by hours attended. These are the four results we plan for from the first class.

A Completed, Named Memorization Goal

Your child finishes the summer able to recite a specific set of surahs or a full juz' from memory. It is a result you can hear, not a progress percentage on a dashboard.

Recitation That Is Noticeably Cleaner

Mispronounced letters, rushed madd, and missed ghunnah are corrected one by one across the season. Families usually notice the difference in the first three weeks.

Nothing Lost From The Previous Year

Because revision is built into every class, your child returns to school holding their old memorization plus the new. The summer gap that normally undoes months of work is closed.

A Head Start On The School Year

Children come back to their regular Quran classes ahead of where they stopped in June. That early lead usually carries through the first term.

How a class runs

Half An Hour Of Camp - Warm-Up, Revision, New Verses, Points

Every session follows the same clear rhythm, so learners always know what comes next.

Warm-Up And Recitation Check

The teacher greets your child and listens to a short passage from earlier memorization. It takes a few minutes and shows what needs attention that day.

Revision Of Yesterday's Portion

Your kids recite the previous day's verses from memory. Any weak spot is repeated before the lesson moves forward.

New Portion With Guided Repetition

The teacher recites the new verses, your child repeats, and the two alternate until the pronunciation is correct. Only then is the portion assigned for memorization.

Recap, Points, And The Day's Task

The class ends with a summary, camp points earned, and a small task for the evening. Parents receive the same note.

After every class

What Each Camp Week Leaves You With - A Clear Progress Summary

After every class the teacher logs what was memorized, what was revised, and what still needs work. You get a weekly summary, so at any point in the break you know exactly where your child stands against the summer target.

“Assalamu Alaikum! I am so thankful for Sheikh Abdullah and the incredible depth of knowledge he brings to every class. What I love most is how the instructor gives 100% attention and is constantly correcting my recitation, which has made my Tajweed noticeably better. The lessons are always engaging, especially when learning Hadith, and realizing how much more there is to discover truly inspires me to keep learning and growing.”

“My experience with Quran House Academy has been truly amazing, standing out as one of the best academies I've attended despite trying many others. I have already seen clear improvements in my tajweed, and for the first time, I am able to learn the in-depth meanings behind surahs. The classes are never boring or overly strict; they are always entertaining, and the teacher is calm, fun, and easy to talk to.”

Mustafa

“My experience with this academy has been really amazing. I had been to a lot of Quran classes before, but they just weren't a good fit for me until I found this Quran Academy, which turned out to be the best one I could ever ask for. It helps me memorize the Quran in a fun and effective way. Previously, I didn't know much Quran and felt hesitant, but now I feel great when my friends ask me to recite because I have memorized so much. The teachers are fantastic—they make the learning process easy, fun, and fast while being incredibly supportive. Another great advantage is the reward system that keeps me motivated. Overall, it has made a huge difference in my Quran memorization journey.”

FAQs

Questions about Quran Classes

Practical answers before you book the first class.

What age can my child start?

Children from four years old can join. Under-sixes start with letter sounds and very short surahs in shorter sessions.

When does the summer camp start and how long does it run?

Enrolment runs from June through August, and you choose a block of four, six, or eight weeks. You pick the start date that fits your family's break.

How many classes per week does my child need?

Most families choose four or five classes a week during summer, which is what makes the intensive target possible. Three per week is the minimum we recommend for real progress.

What happens if we travel in the middle of the camp?

Tell your teacher in advance and the schedule is shifted or paused. Classes only need a stable internet connection, so many children continue while away.

Does my child need previous Quran experience to join?

No. Complete beginners start with Arabic letters and reading, while children who already memorize are placed straight onto a hifz track.

Are the classes one-to-one or in groups?

All teaching sessions are one-to-one with a dedicated teacher. The only group element is the optional weekly recitation circle.

Can I request a female teacher for my daughter?

Yes. Female teachers are available for all levels and you can specify this before the trial class.

What platform do you use for the classes?

Classes run on Zoom with a shared digital Mushaf, so your child sees the verses while reciting. No special software or equipment is needed.

What does my child receive at the end of the summer?

A final recitation assessment, a written evaluation of their tajweed, and a certificate stating exactly what was memorized. You also receive a suggested plan for continuing during the school year.

Can we try the summer quran course for kids before paying?

Yes, the first class is free and includes a level assessment. Summer packages are refundable within the first week if the fit is not right.
