1. Introduction and acceptance
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Quran House website (quranhouse.online) and every online class you book with us. By booking a free trial, paying for a plan or attending a class, you agree to these terms.
In these terms, “Quran House”, “we” and “us” mean Quran House, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. “You” and “student” mean the person taking classes. If the student is under 18, “you” also means the parent or guardian who books and pays for the classes.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not book or attend classes.
2. Our services, free trial and scheduling
Classes. Quran House offers live one-to-one and group online classes in Quran reading, Tajweed, Hifz (memorization), Quranic Arabic, Islamic Studies and related programs. Classes are held over Zoom, Skype or another platform we agree with you.
Free trial. New students can book one free trial class with no payment card required and no obligation to continue. The trial is used to assess your level and recommend a course and weekly schedule. The free trial is offered once per student.
Teachers. You may request a male or female teacher. We will do our best to meet your preference, subject to availability. Quran House may assign a substitute teacher if your regular teacher is unavailable, and you may ask to change your teacher at any time.
Scheduling. Class times are agreed between you and Quran House and set in your local time zone. Please join on time with a stable internet connection, a working camera and microphone, and a quiet place to study.
Late arrival. If you join late, the class still ends at its scheduled time. If you do not join within 15 minutes of the start time, the class is counted as attended.
Rescheduling. You may reschedule a class by notifying us at least 6 hours before it starts. Each plan includes a set number of reschedules per month (for example, 2 on the Foundation plan). Classes missed without notice are not made up.
Teacher absence. If a teacher misses a class or Quran House cancels it, we will offer a make-up class at a time that suits you, or credit it to your next billing period.
3. Fees, payments, cancellations and refunds
Plans and prices. Fees are charged per hour of class time in US dollars, based on the plan you choose.
The current prices are always shown on our Prices page. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice before your next billing period.
Billing. Plans are paid monthly in advance, before the first class of each month. Your monthly fee depends on the number and length of classes in your schedule. Classes may be paused if payment is not received within 7 days of the due date.
Payment methods. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout or on your invoice. Any bank or transfer fees are paid by the student.
Family discount. Where a plan includes a family discount, it applies when two or more family members from the same household study with Quran House at the same time.
Cancellation. You may cancel your plan at any time by emailing info@quranhouse.online or messaging us on WhatsApp. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month, and you will not be charged again.
Refunds. The free trial costs nothing, so no refund applies to it. If you are not satisfied after your first paid month, contact us within 7 days of that month’s first class and we will refund the classes you have not yet taken. After that, fees already paid are not refunded, but unused classes caused by a Quran House cancellation will be made up or credited.
4. Conduct, children, recordings and privacy
Respectful conduct. Students, parents and teachers are expected to behave respectfully and dress modestly on camera. Quran House may suspend or end classes, without refund for the current month, if a student or parent is abusive, harasses a teacher, or repeatedly breaks these terms.
Students under 18. A parent or guardian must book classes for students under 18 and accept these terms on their behalf. For young children, a parent or adult should be at home and available during the class. Parents can ask for progress updates at any time.
Contact with teachers. All scheduling, payments and changes are handled through Quran House, not directly with the teacher. Please do not arrange private paid lessons with a Quran House teacher outside the academy.
Recordings. Classes are recorded only on the Elite Scholar plan, or when you ask us to. Recordings are used for the student’s revision and for quality review, and are never published without written permission. Students and parents may not record or share classes without the teacher’s consent.
Privacy. We collect the details you give us, such as your name, WhatsApp number, email, country and course preferences, to arrange and run your classes and to contact you about them. We do not sell your personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains how we store and protect your data.
5. Content, liability, changes and contact
Course materials. Syllabi, worksheets, reports and other materials we provide are for the student’s personal learning only. They may not be copied, sold or shared publicly without our written permission.
Certificates. Certificates and Ijazah are awarded based on the student’s assessed level and the teacher’s approval. Paying for a course does not by itself guarantee a certificate or Ijazah.
Liability. We work to give every student high-quality teaching, but learning progress depends on each student’s effort and attendance, so we cannot guarantee specific results. Quran House is not responsible for classes lost to problems on the student’s side, such as internet, device or power failures. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid for the month in which the issue occurred.
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. If you continue taking classes after a change, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA.
