Noor Al Bayan For Kids

Noor Al Bayan for kids is a Qaida course that teaches children to read the Quran in small steps. Your child starts with Arabic letters. Then they learn to read words. In the end, they read short lines from the Quran. At Quran House, your child learns it in live online classes with a kind teacher.

Many children find Arabic letters hard at first. Some shapes look alike, and some sounds are new. Noor Al Bayan makes this easy with small steps, colors and lots of practice. Your child learns one skill at a time. That way, reading the Quran feels fun, not scary.

About the Noor Al Bayan Course For Kids

This course uses the Noor Al Bayan method to teach your child to read from zero. It is a first step course. It comes before full Quran reading and Tajweed. Your child starts with single letters and their sounds. Next, they learn the small marks that show how to say each letter. Then they join letters into words.

The course is made for kids, so the pace fits how kids learn. Each lesson is short and friendly. There is lots of repeat practice. The teacher uses praise, games and gentle help to keep your child happy and focused. You don't need to speak Arabic to support your child at home.

Connected curriculum

What your child will study in the Noor Al Bayan Course For Kids

Noor Al Bayan follows a clear order. Each part builds on the one before it, so your child never jumps ahead too fast. The teacher checks each skill before moving on. Below is what your child will learn, part by part.

  1. Arabic Letters And Their Sounds

Your child starts with the 28 letters of the Arabic alphabet. They learn the name of each letter. More important, they learn its sound. The teacher shows where each sound comes from in the mouth and throat.

Some Arabic letters sound very close to each other. The teacher helps your child hear the difference and say each one clearly. This early care stops bad habits before they start.

  2. Letter Shapes In Different Places In A Word

Arabic letters change shape when they join other letters. A letter can look different at the start, middle or end of a word. This is one of the hardest parts for kids.

Noor Al Bayan teaches these shapes slowly with clear examples. Your child learns to spot a letter in any place. This makes reading real words much easier later on.

  3. Short Vowels: Fatha, Kasra And Damma

Short vowels are small marks above or below a letter. They tell your child how to say it: "a", "i" or "u". Fatha, Kasra and Damma are the first marks your child learns.

The teacher uses short drills so your child reads each letter with each mark. Soon your child can read short sounds fast, without guessing. This is the first real step in Quran reading for beginners.

  4. Tanween: The Double Vowel Marks

Tanween is a double mark that adds an "n" sound to the end of a word. A letter can then sound like "an", "in" or "un". You see it a lot at the end of Quran words.

Your child learns to spot the double mark and read it the right way. The teacher gives short word lists to practice. This helps your child read word endings well.

  5. Long Vowels: The Madd Letters

Long vowels stretch a sound for a bit longer. In Arabic, three letters do this job: Alif, Waw and Ya. Your child learns how long to hold each sound.

This part matters a lot in Quran reading. If a sound is too short or too long, the word can change. The teacher uses clapping and counting to make timing easy for kids.

  6. Sukun: The Silent Mark

Sukun is a small circle on top of a letter. It means the letter has no vowel. Your child learns to say that letter fast and join it to the letter before it.

Many beginners stop or add extra sounds here. Noor Al Bayan gives clear practice words to fix this. With time, your child reads these words in one smooth flow.

  7. Shaddah: The Double Letter Mark

Shaddah is a small mark that looks like a "w". It means the letter is said twice, with a little push. You find it in many common Quran words.

Your child learns to press on the letter and say it clearly. The teacher mixes Shaddah with the marks your child already knows. This helps your child read longer, harder words.

  8. Reading Words And Short Quran Verses

In the last part, your child puts every skill together. They read full words, then short phrases, then simple verses from the Quran. This is the goal of the whole course.

The teacher picks short verses your child may already hear at home or in prayer. Reading them alone makes kids feel very proud. From here, your child is ready for full Quran reading and basic Tajweed.

Course outcomes

What are the outcomes of the Noor Al Bayan Course for Kids

Parents want to see real progress, not just lessons ticked off. This course is built so each skill leads to a result you can notice at home. Here is what the course aims to help your child reach.

Your child says Arabic letters the right way

Your child will know every Arabic letter by its shape and its sound. They will say each sound from the right place. This is the base for every other reading skill.

Good sounds early on save time later. Kids who learn the right way from the start don't have to fix old mistakes in Tajweed class.

Your child reads Quran words alone

Your child will be able to read new Arabic words without help. They will use the vowel marks, Sukun and Shaddah to work out each word. Guessing turns into real reading.

This is a big change for many families. Your child can follow along in the mushaf and read the short words they see.

Your child is ready for full Quran reading and Tajweed

When the course ends, your child has the tools to read from the mushaf. They are ready for the next step. That step is full reading with basic Tajweed rules.

The course is planned so this move feels easy. Your child won't feel lost, because they already know how Quran text works.

Your child loves the Quran and feels sure of themselves

A good start shapes how a child feels about the Quran for years. Short, kind and fun lessons help your child link the Quran with happy moments. Many kids start to look forward to class.

Each small win makes your child feel more sure. When your child reads a verse alone for the first time, they feel proud. And they want to keep going.

How a class runs

What a 30-minute Class Look Likes In Our Noor Al Bayan Course For Kids

Every session follows the same clear rhythm, so learners always know what comes next.

Warm hello and quick review

The teacher greets your child and starts with a short, friendly chat. Then your child reviews the last lesson for a few minutes.

New lesson from Noor Al Bayan

The teacher brings in one new idea, like a new letter or mark. They explain it with simple words, colors and examples.

Reading practice with help

Your child reads a short list of letters or words out loud. The teacher fixes mistakes gently, right away. This is where most of the learning happens. Your child gets to read a lot, and the teacher listens closely.

Fun review and home task

The class ends with a short game or quiz on the lesson. Kids enjoy this part, and it helps them remember. The teacher then sets a small task to practice at home. This keeps the lesson fresh until the next class.

After every class

Your child reads the Quran with a strong start

By the end of the course, your child can look at an Arabic word and read it. They know the letters, the marks and how to join sounds. This skill opens the door to the whole Quran.

Every child learns at their own speed. Progress depends on regular classes and home practice. What stays the same is the method: clear steps, live help and a kind teacher. This gives your child a strong base for years of Quran learning.

Learn Arabic for kids: Noor Al Bayan builds reading skills too

The Noor Al Bayan method also builds basic Arabic reading. Many parents want their child to read the Quran and to read Arabic. This course helps with both.

Easy home practice for parents

You don't need to know Arabic to help your child. The teacher gives a small task after each class. You can add a Noor Al Bayan PDF for kids or Noor Al Bayan worksheets free printables for extra practice.

“My experience with Quran House Academy has been truly amazing, standing out as one of the best academies I've attended despite trying many others. I have already seen clear improvements in my tajweed, and for the first time, I am able to learn the in-depth meanings behind surahs. The classes are never boring or overly strict; they are always entertaining, and the teacher is calm, fun, and easy to talk to.”

“My experience with this academy has been really amazing. I had been to a lot of Quran classes before, but they just weren't a good fit for me until I found this Quran Academy, which turned out to be the best one I could ever ask for. It helps me memorize the Quran in a fun and effective way. Previously, I didn't know much Quran and felt hesitant, but now I feel great when my friends ask me to recite because I have memorized so much. The teachers are fantastic—they make the learning process easy, fun, and fast while being incredibly supportive. Another great advantage is the reward system that keeps me motivated. Overall, it has made a huge difference in my Quran memorization journey.”
