Read Arabic Alone
Your child will know every letter in every shape. They will read Quran words without English letters to help.
This means they are truly reading. They are not just saying back what they hear.
Live 1-to-1 · Private Classes
Noorani Qaida for Kids at Quran House gives your child a strong foundation to read the Quran. It is the first step, and it is made just for kids. Your child learns the Arabic letters and their sounds. Then they learn how the letters join. Step by step, they start to read Quran words on their own.
This online qaida for kids is live with a kind teacher. The lessons are short and fun. They fit your child's age. Your child learns at home, so you don't need a Quran school close by. You get to watch your child grow.
A clear route, not random lessons
The Noorani Qaida is the foundation book for anyone new to the Quran. Many say it was written by Sheikh Noor Muhammad Ludhianvi. It starts with one letter at a time. It ends with full Quran words. Each lesson adds just one new thing. So your child is never rushed.
This Noorani Qaida course for kids is built for young learners, not adults. A 4-year-old and a 10-year-old don't learn the same way. So the teacher changes the games, the pace, and the words to fit your child's age.
At Quran House, we teach the Qaida the way kids learn best. The teacher reads first. Then your child says it back. We use colors, pictures, and small games. Your child moves on only when they read the lesson well. Good reading comes first. Speed comes second.
Connected curriculum
This Noorani Qaida course for kids has 8 steps. Each step gets your child ready for the next one.
Your child learns all 29 letters. They learn how each one looks and sounds. Letters that look the same are taught side by side, like ب, ت, and ث. Only the dots are different.
Some sounds are hard for kids who speak English, like ع and ء. The teacher gives these sounds extra time. Learning them right now saves a lot of fixing later.
In Arabic, a letter can change its shape. It looks one way at the start of a word and another way at the end. Your child learns to spot each letter in every spot.
Many kids get stuck here. So we use colors and "find the letter" games. We keep going until joined letters feel easy.
Some Surahs begin with letters you say one by one, like الٓمٓ (Alif Lam Meem). Your child learns to read them by their names.
Kids love this lesson. It is often the first time they read words right from the Quran.
Your child learns three small marks: Fatha, Kasra, and Damma. Each mark changes the sound of a letter. This is where letters turn into sounds your child can read.
The teacher points to sounds in a mixed order. This shows your child is really reading. They are not just saying the page from memory.
Tanween marks add a soft "n" sound at the end of a word. You see them all over the Quran. So your child gets lots of practice.
Your child learns to hear and see the difference between one mark and two.
Some letters make a sound longer: ا, و, and ي. Your child learns to tell a short sound from a long one.
The teacher counts and uses hand moves. This keeps each long sound the same length. It also gets your child ready for Tajweed later.
The Sukoon mark means "stop on this letter." The Shaddah mark means "say this letter twice." With these two marks, your child can read most Quran words.
We start with small words. Then we move to longer ones. Soon your child reads whole words without stopping.
Now your child puts it all together. They read real Quran words and short verses. They also learn a few easy Tajweed sounds, like the hum sound (Ghunnah) and the bounce sound (Qalqalah).
By the end, your child can open Juz Amma and read it alone, with the right sounds. The Qaida foundation is now in place.
Course outcomes
When your child finishes these qaida classes for children, they will have new skills. They can use them every day.
Your child will know every letter in every shape. They will read Quran words without English letters to help.
This means they are truly reading. They are not just saying back what they hear.
Your child will say each letter the right way. This includes sounds we don't have in English.
It is much easier to learn a sound right the first time than to fix it later.
When the Qaida is done, your child is ready to read the Quran with Tajweed. They can also start to memorize.
You won't need to guess the next step. The first step is already done.
Each class ends with a small win your child can see. So they finish the course proud, not stressed.
A happy start helps your child stay close to the Quran as they grow.
Inside a real lesson
Short class snippets show how the teacher explains, listens, corrects and confirms progress.
How a class runs
Every session follows the same clear rhythm, so learners always know what comes next.
The teacher says hi and asks a quick, fun question about the last lesson. This helps your child relax. It also shows the teacher what needs more practice.
The teacher reads the new letters or sounds out loud. Your child listens and says them back. This "listen and repeat" way has been used to teach the Quran for hundreds of years.
Now your child reads alone. The teacher points to sounds in a mixed order. If your child makes a mistake, the teacher fixes it kindly.
The class ends with a short game. Your child gets one easy task to practice at home. You get a short note. It tells you what your child learned and how you can help.
Each class closes with a reading skill your child didn’t have at the start, whether it’s a new letter, a vowel mark, or a complete phrase. Week after week, these small wins build on each other until your child can open the Mushaf and read it on their own.

“My experience with this academy has been really amazing. I had been to a lot of Quran classes before, but they just weren't a good fit for me until I found this Quran Academy, which turned out to be the best one I could ever ask for. It helps me memorize the Quran in a fun and effective way. Previously, I didn't know much Quran and felt hesitant, but now I feel great when my friends ask me to recite because I have memorized so much. The teachers are fantastic—they make the learning process easy, fun, and fast while being incredibly supportive. Another great advantage is the reward system that keeps me motivated. Overall, it has made a huge difference in my Quran memorization journey.”
