Confident, Unhesitant Recitation
You read the Mushaf accurately without stopping to decode words or guess at vowel endings. Reciting in front of others, in salah or in a halaqah, stops feeling daunting.
Live 1-to-1 · Private Classes
Your weekdays are already full with work, study, or running a home, and Qur'an learning keeps slipping to "later." These weekend Quran classes for sisters put your lesson on your own days off, at an hour you choose, with a qualified female teacher.
Every session is one-to-one and women-only, so you can recite aloud, be corrected, and repeat without hesitation. You come as you are — complete beginner or returning after years away — and your teacher builds the plan around the two days you actually have.
A clear route, not random lessons
This is a structured Qur'an programme delivered entirely at the weekend for female students aged 10 and above who are busy during the week. You study recitation, tajweed, and memorisation with a certified female teacher over live video, one student per session, at your own pace. You keep the same teacher every weekend, so she always knows exactly where you stopped, which mistakes keep returning, and what needs attention in your next lesson.
Because you meet once or twice a week rather than daily, the course is built differently: every lesson ends with a short weekday practice task you can finish in ten minutes. Progress continues between sessions without adding pressure to your working week.
Connected curriculum
Your teacher assesses your recitation in the first session and starts you at the right point, so nothing is repeated and nothing is skipped. The eight areas below form the full programme, and your plan draws on the ones that match your level.
You learn to produce each of the 28 letters from its correct point of articulation, including the letters commonly swapped by non-Arabic speakers. This is the base everything else rests on, so it is never rushed.
Beginners move through a step-by-step reading primer, joining letters, vowels, and sukoon into whole words. Most sisters reach independent reading of short verses within one term of weekend study.
You cover noon and meem sakinah, madd lengths, qalqalah, and the rules of raa and laam, each introduced then practised on live verses. Rules are taught through your own recitation rather than as theory to memorise.
The core of every lesson is reciting aloud while your teacher listens and corrects in real time. Mistakes are caught the same week they appear, before they settle into habit.
Hifz portions are set for a weekend rhythm, typically a few lines per session, with the amount agreed between you and your teacher. You choose the track: Juz' Amma, selected surahs, or full memorisation over a longer horizon.
You are given a rotating revision schedule so earlier portions stay solid while new material is added. Your teacher tests old ground at the start of each session, not only the newest lines.
Alongside memorisation you cover the general meaning of the verses you are working on, drawn from mainstream tafsir. Knowing the meaning makes retention easier and turns recitation into reflection.
Special attention goes to the surahs and supplications you use in salah and throughout the day, so what you study is immediately usable. Many sisters start here and expand once their salah recitation is secure.
Course outcomes
Goals are agreed with you in the first session and reviewed each term.
You read the Mushaf accurately without stopping to decode words or guess at vowel endings. Reciting in front of others, in salah or in a halaqah, stops feeling daunting.
Rules move from something you recall to something your tongue does automatically. Your teacher signs off a rule only once you apply it consistently across unfamiliar passages.
Whether that is Juz' Amma, a set of long surahs, or a larger portion, you finish the term with a tested achievement rather than scattered fragments. Progress is logged so you can see exactly where you stand.
You learn how to correct your own reading, structure your revision, and check a rule when you are unsure. The aim is a sister who can keep going with or without a teacher.
Inside a real lesson
Short class snippets show how the teacher explains, listens, corrects and confirms progress.
How a class runs
Every session follows the same clear rhythm, so learners always know what comes next.
Your teacher opens with a short revision of last session's portion. This confirms what held through the week before anything new is added.
You recite the current passage and the teacher stops you at specific errors. Each correction is modelled, repeated by you, then checked again.
A new portion is introduced with the teacher reciting first and you echoing, phrase by phrase. The tajweed rule being applied is named as it comes up.
The session ends with a clear practice assignment sized for your week. You know what to recite, how many times, and what will be tested next time.
After each session your teacher records what was covered, what was corrected, and what comes next. You can see the trajectory at any point rather than relying on impressions.
Why Quran House
Qualified teachers, a connected route and progress families can see.
Every sister is taught by a qualified female teacher, with no exceptions and no mixed sessions. This is set at enrollment and does not change if your schedule does.
Slots run across both of your days off, from early morning to late evening, in your local time. You are not fitting into a weekday schedule designed for someone else.
Your session is yours alone, so the pace, the corrections, and the memorisation load are set by your level. Nothing is held back or pushed forward to suit a class.
Teachers hold ijazah with connected chains of transmission and are trained to teach female students. You learn from someone qualified to certify, not only to supervise.
Camera use is entirely your choice, and audio-only sessions are completely normal here. Many sisters study from home without ever appearing on screen.
Life interrupts, and a missed lesson does not mean a lost session or a lost fee. Bookings can be rearranged within the same month with notice.

“My experience with this academy has been really amazing. I had been to a lot of Quran classes before, but they just weren't a good fit for me until I found this Quran Academy, which turned out to be the best one I could ever ask for. Previously, I didn't know much Quran and felt hesitant, but now I feel great when my friends ask me to recite because I have memorized so much. The teachers are fantastic—they make the learning process easy, fun, and fast while being incredibly supportive. Another great advantage is the reward system that keeps me motivated.
