Live 1-to-1 · Private Classes
Many Muslims want to read the Quran and understand its language, yet finding one teacher who handles both is hard. Quran House offers Arabic and Quran classes online, combining both subjects in one plan.
Our qualified teachers lead live one-to-one lessons on Zoom or Skype in your local time zone, from London to Toronto to Dubai. Children, teens, university students, and adults can learn Quran and Arabic online from home.
A clear route, not random lessons
Quran House is an online Quran academy that helps children and adults read, recite, understand, and memorize the Quran. Our Arabic & Quran Combined Classes pair Quran reading with Quranic Arabic, so each recited word begins to carry meaning.
Families in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, the Gulf, and Europe juggle school runs, office hours, and weekend activities. Online lessons remove the commute and let each student follow a plan tailored to their age, level, and goals.
Connected curriculum
Each student in Arabic and Quran Combined Classes follows one of our custom online Arabic and Quran courses. The topics below build on each other, from the first letter sounds to reading and understanding complete Surahs.
You start with the Noorani Qaida, learning each Arabic letter, its shape at the start, middle, and end of a word, and its short vowels. This stage suits complete beginners from kindergarten age upward.
You practise the letters English speakers find hardest, such as ع, ح, ق, and ض. Your teacher uses mouth positions and slow repetition, so you stop swapping ح for ه or ق for ك.
Once the Qaida is complete, you move to reading directly from the Mushaf. Lessons begin with short Surahs from Juz Amma and gradually build longer passages at a steady, confident pace.
You learn core rules such as Noon Sakinah, Meem Sakinah, Madd, and Qalqalah, then apply them straight away in your reading. Our Basic Tajweed Course for Non-Arabic Speakers keeps the explanations practical rather than theoretical.
You'll learn the high-frequency words that make up about 80% of the Quran's text. Recognizing these words early makes daily recitation more meaningful, especially for students in elementary and high school.
You study how Arabic words are built from root letters and how sentence endings change meaning. This part of the Arabic & Quran Combined Classes suits teens, university students, and adults ready for more depth.
You read short Surahs word by word, linking each Arabic word to its English meaning. This habit turns Al-Fatihah and the Surahs recited in Salah into passages they truly understand.
You memorize selected Surahs while learning their meanings, which makes them far easier to retain. Regular Muraja'ah between classes keeps earlier Surahs fresh while new ones are added.

Course outcomes
Every class in Arabic and Quran Combined Classes builds toward clear goals. Below are the concrete skills students gain as they learn to read the Quran and understand its language together.
Students progress from spelling out letters to reading a full Mushaf page smoothly, without stopping at every word. Your teacher tracks reading speed and accuracy so you can see steady improvement each month.
You learn to apply Noon Sakinah, Madd, and Qalqalah rules correctly while reading, not just to name them. Mistakes are corrected in the moment, so accurate recitation becomes a natural habit.
You begin to recognize frequently repeated words such as Rabb, Rahmah, and Salah as you recite. Understanding even part of what you read brings more focus and presence to your prayers, Insha'Allah.
Students memorize Al-Fatihah and selected Surahs from Juz Amma, with a clear grasp of what each one means. This gives you a solid base for future Hifz or Tafseer study.
Inside a real lesson

How a class runs
Every session follows the same clear rhythm, so learners always know what comes next.
The class opens with a short review of the last lesson. Your teacher listens to the student read, checks retained vocabulary, and makes sure earlier material is secure before adding anything new.
The teacher introduces a new Qaida lesson, Mushaf page, or group of Quranic words. Reading and Arabic are linked, so a new word learned today often appears in the verses read in the same lesson.
Students reread the new portion while the teacher corrects pronunciation and Tajweed. Difficult letters like ض and ع get extra repetition until the sound becomes clear and consistent.
The class ends with a short practice task, such as revising a page or reviewing ten words. Parents receive brief feedback on progress and on what to encourage at home during the week.
After each class from Arabic and Quran Combined Classes, students leave with a corrected passage they can read confidently, a few new Quranic words they understand, and a clear practice task.
