Quran House Online Tajweed Classes With a Female Tajweed Teacher Guiding You From Home

Quran House is an online Quran academy helping children and adults read, recite, and understand the Quran with confidence. Our Online Tajweed Classes With a Female Tajweed Teacher follow a structured curriculum, so every lesson builds on the one before it.

Our teaching team includes Egyptian, Al-Azhar-educated, and Ijazah-certified teachers, with qualified female instructors experienced in teaching non-Arabic speakers. Learning online removes the commute, keeps lessons private, and lets mothers study while children nap or attend school.

Connected curriculum

Tajweed Lessons Students Study With a Female Quran Teacher at Quran House

Each lesson plan is tailored to your current level. These eight learning areas move you gradually from correct letter sounds to confident, rule-based recitation from the Mushaf.

  1. Noorani Qaida Foundations for Complete Beginners

Beginners start with the Noorani Qaida Course, learning each Arabic letter, its shapes, and short vowels before touching the Mushaf. This step suits adults with no Arabic background and young children who are ready to recognize letters.

  2. Makharij and Sifaat for Accurate Letter Sounds

You learn where each letter is produced in the throat, tongue, and lips, plus the qualities that separate similar sounds. Your teacher gives special attention to ع, ح, ق, and ض, which non-Arabic speakers often mispronounce.

  3. Rules of Noon Sakinah and Tanween

You learn Izhar, Idgham, Iqlab, and Ikhfa, the four rules governing noon sakinah and tanween. A patient female teacher uses examples from short Surahs, so young learners hear and repeat each rule until it becomes natural.

  4. Rules of Meem Sakinah and Ghunnah

You study Ikhfa Shafawi, Idgham Shafawi, and Izhar Shafawi, along with the correct length of ghunnah on noon and meem mushaddad. These rules suit learners who already read slowly and want smoother, more accurate recitation.

  5. Madd Rules and Correct Vowel Lengths

You learn natural Madd of two counts, then connected and separated Madd of four to five counts, and required Madd of six. Counting on fingers during recitation helps children hold each length consistently.

  6. Qalqalah Letters and Heavy and Light Pronunciation

You practise the echoing bounce of ق, ط, ب, ج, and د, and learn when letters such as ر and the ل in Allah are heavy or light. These details give recitation its authentic Arabic sound.

  7. Rules of Stopping and Starting in Recitation

You learn the Waqf signs printed in the Mushaf, where stopping is required, preferred, or discouraged, and how to resume correctly. This protects the meaning of verses and suits students reading full pages independently.

  8. Practical Amali Tajweed and Recitation Correction

In Practical (Amali) Tajweed, you recite whole passages while your teacher corrects mistakes live, applying every rule together. Advanced sisters can continue into Recitation Correction (Tashih al-Tilawah) or begin preparing for a Tajweed Ijazah.

Course outcomes

What Students Achieve With Their Female Tajweed Teacher

With steady classes and daily revision with our Female Tajweed Teacher, Insha'Allah, students reach clear milestones. Each outcome below is tracked by your teacher and shared through regular progress updates.

Reading Fluently From the Mushaf With Correct Pronunciation

You will read directly from the standard Mushaf without transliteration, pronouncing every letter from its proper articulation point. Consistent learners progress from the Qaida to confident Mushaf reading at a pace matching their practice and level.

Applying Core Tajweed Rules Without Hesitation

You will recognize and apply Noon Sakinah, Meem Sakinah, Madd, and Qalqalah rules while reading, not just define them. Teachers confirm this by listening to unseen passages and noting how many rules are applied correctly.

Reciting Juz Amma Surahs With Accurate Tajweed

You will recite the short Surahs of Juz Amma with correct Tajweed, improving the quality of your daily prayers immediately. Sisters wanting to go further can join the Juz Amma Memorization or Quran Memorization for Sisters programs.

Understanding the Meaning of Daily Recitation

Alongside Tajweed, your teacher explains the meaning of Al-Fatiha and the Surahs you recite in prayer. Knowing what you say deepens focus in Salah, and learners can later continue with Quran Tafseer for Sisters or Quranic Vocabulary.

How a class runs

A Typical 30 Minute Online Class With Your Female Tajweed Teacher

Every session follows the same clear rhythm, so learners always know what comes next.

Warm-up and Revision of the Previous Lesson

The class opens with a short dua, then you recite the previous lesson from memory or the page. Your teacher checks retention and notes any rule that needs another round of Muraja'ah.

Introducing the New Lesson and Tajweed Rule

Your teacher explains one new rule with examples, recites the new portion slowly, and asks your child to repeat each line. Introducing one rule at a time prevents confusion and keeps young learners confident.

Correction and Guided Tajweed Practice

You read the new portion independently while your teacher stops you gently at each error, models the correct sound, and has you repeat it. Difficult letters like ض and ق get extra focused drills.

Homework and Feedback for Parents and Students

The final minutes cover homework, usually daily practice of the new portion, and brief feedback. Parents of young children receive a quick summary of progress and tips for supporting practice at home.

After every class

What Students Take Home After Every Tajweed Class With Our Female Teacher

After each class, students leave with a firmer grasp of one Tajweed rule, a corrected portion they can read accurately, and a clear practice task. Ten focused minutes of daily revision between classes keeps that progress secure, Insha'Allah.

“My experience with Quran House Academy has been truly amazing, standing out as one of the best academies I've attended despite trying many others. I have already seen clear improvements in my tajweed, and for the first time, I am able to learn the in-depth meanings behind surahs. The classes are never boring or overly strict; they are always entertaining, and the teacher is calm, fun, and easy to talk to.”

Mustafa

“My experience with this academy has been really amazing. I had been to a lot of Quran classes before, but they just weren't a good fit for me until I found this Quran Academy, which turned out to be the best one I could ever ask for. It helps me memorize the Quran in a fun and effective way. Previously, I didn't know much Quran and felt hesitant, but now I feel great when my friends ask me to recite because I have memorized so much. The teachers are fantastic—they make the learning process easy, fun, and fast while being incredibly supportive. Another great advantage is the reward system that keeps me motivated. Overall, it has made a huge difference in my Quran memorization journey.”

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions About Finding a Female Tajweed Teacher Online

Practical answers before you book the first class.

What age can my child start Tajweed classes with a female teacher?

Quran House teaches children from preschool age, three to five years, starting with letter recognition and the Noorani Qaida. Formal Tajweed rules usually begin once your child reads connected Arabic letters comfortably.

Are class timings available in my local time zone?

Yes. Classes are scheduled in your own local time zone, whether you live in North America, the UK, Europe, Australia, or the Gulf, with flexible weekday and weekend slots to fit your routine.

Are the female Tajweed teachers at Quran House qualified?

Yes. Our female teachers are qualified instructors from a team that includes Egyptian, Al-Azhar-educated, and Ijazah-certified teachers, experienced in teaching women, children, and non-Arabic speakers the correct rules of Tajweed.

Can adult women with no Arabic background join?

Absolutely. Complete beginners start with the Noorani Qaida Course, learning letters and sounds before moving to Tajweed rules. Your teacher explains each step clearly in English at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Is there a free trial class?

Yes. Quran House offers a free trial class, where a female teacher assesses your current reading, identifies pronunciation areas to improve, and recommends the right course and level before you commit to anything.

How many Tajweed classes per week are recommended?

For steady progress, we suggest three to five 30-minute classes weekly for young children and two to three for adults. Consistent short lessons with daily revision work better than occasional long sessions.

Which devices and apps are needed for the class?

You need a laptop, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection, a working microphone, and Zoom or Skype installed. Headphones help you and your teacher hear subtle letter sounds more clearly.

How is my child's progress tracked?

Your child's teacher records mastered rules, letters needing practice, and pages covered as lessons progress. Parents receive regular progress updates and brief feedback at the end of classes to support practice at home.

Can we reschedule a missed class?

Flexible scheduling makes it easier to find a replacement slot when you miss a class. Contact the Quran House team as early as possible, and they will explain the rescheduling options available for your plan.

What are the fees and payment options?

Fees depend on the course, number of weekly classes, and whether you choose private or family lessons. Contact Quran House directly or book your free trial to receive a plan and pricing that fit your needs.
