Which surah to read on Friday?
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday will have a light between this Friday and the next”.
Prophet Muhammed pointed out in the previous narration that surah Al-Kahf is the chapter Muslims should read on Fridays, as Allah will give them a light between Fridays.
Moreover, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said “Whoever memorizes ten verses from the beginning of Surat al-Kahf will be immune to the False Messiah”.
According to the previous narration, Allah will protect those who memorize ten verses of the surah from Messiah Dajjal on judgment day.
Surah Al-Kahf was revealed in Mecca. It is the 18th surah of the Quran and contains 110 verses.
